This is a fun and truly innovative application. It works just fine. I used it to measure how much speaker wire I needed to cut from the spool, and for the first time didnt end up with an extra 3 feet of it around the speakers to trip on. However, you shouldnt rely on it if youre planning to build new kitchen cabinets. Well worth the single dollar.
